The box is at your door, your heart rate is up, and you're about to meet her for the first time. Congratulations — genuinely. The first week sets the tone for years together, and the owners who get it right do a handful of small things in the right order. This is your complete day-by-day: from box cutter to, well, everything after.

Day 1: the unboxing (don't rush this part)
- Move the box to the bedroom before opening. A packed doll is heavier and more awkward than the same doll in your arms — a 158cm girl ships in a box of about 47 kg.
- Open on the floor, on a blanket. Cut tape shallow — she's right under the lid in her foam bed.
- Clear a landing spot first, lift second. A blanket on the bed or sofa where she can lie flat the moment she is out of the box.
- Lift her out properly: one arm under her shoulders, one under her hips — like carrying a bride, not a rolled carpet. Never pull her up by an arm, leg or head.
- Keep the box. Flatten it if space is tight — it's her best long-term storage and your only safe shipping container if ever needed.
Day 1, continued: her first bath

Day 2: gear up

- Water-based lube — the only kind that ever touches her (why)
- Mild unscented soap + soft sponge
- Cornstarch or renewal powder + a big puff
- Microfiber towels (hers, not the household's)
- Wide-tooth comb + detangling spray for the wig

Day 2–3: first time together
You waited, you prepped — enjoy. A few first-timer notes that make it better for both of you:
- Warm her up first — 15 minutes with a heating rod or an electric blanket on low transforms the experience (heating guide).

- Move her joints gently to position her — new skeletons are deliberately firm and loosen into their natural range over the first weeks (positioning guide). Never force past resistance.

Day 4–7: build the routines
